It’s been a pleasure working for @universalpictures LA on Nosferatu over the past 12 months. A film certainly worthy of all praise and a cinema ticket. Getting TV spots to air I tend to find one of the bigger challenges as an editor- balancing testing feedback, studio notes, director approvals, and shorter formats all under heavier constraints. To instil fear in 30 seconds is a delicate game. To have 2 spots approved by Universal and Eggars for the International TV and social campaign was a great honour and perhaps my 2024 highlight. Translated in to more languages than I knew existed and beaming around both hemispheres. You may get served one as a story if Zuckerberg sees you like this, tread lightly. In Cinemas Now!

60 Years of DB5 : When I was asked to create 4 documentaries for @primevideo and @007 , I knew one would focus on the Aston Martin. I’ve always had a pet theory that James and his Aston are an echo of the western trope of the cowboy and their steed. A dialogue-less partnership between an outlaw and the trusty horsepower beneath him. Reliant on and trusting each other in a hostile, frontier environment. This angle provided the basis for the doc. It was not about the cars per se, but the relationship they shared with their driver, James Bond. With this in mind the intro was designed as an editorial rug pull - make the audience believe this is a doc about Bond, but revealing our true character in an interesting way. You can watch all 4 of the documentaries on Prime Video as the official Bonus Content to all James Bond films. I had the immense privilege and challenge of directing a series of 4 Documentaries for @007 @mgmstudios @primevideo . Each about a component of the James Bond films that makes its 62 years of history special. 3 of the 4 are now live on Prime, follow the link on my profile to watch. To anyone in film, the arts or that has a remote interest in movies I hope you find them as compelling of a watch as I found getting to live in each world they inhabit. Insanely proud of the team at Chinagraph and the talent that helped turned these around with me from my creative deck in July to their delivery release on Prime this month.

The 48 hour renovation. New creative studio coming together. Enjoying time in my second role and true calling as a cowboy builder. Unfortunately it only pays in lower back pain and splinters and the recipient of the shoddy work is me. So back to editing for now… Thanks to fellow tradesmen @tomcampbell_bc @hubert_wgr for their shifts.
