When people ask me why I love movies so much, the answer always comes back to the people that I get to make movies with.
There were lots of times where it felt like that community would never come. Friends and I were kicking down doors in Arkansas with no guarantee any of it would lead to anything at all. All we could hope was that, eventually, all those hours would build up into something special.
To be surrounded by a new, incredible community of filmmakers, creators, musicians, etc is one of the most relieving feelings I have experienced since I picked up a camera seven years ago. It feels like all of those long days and late nights were worth it. And, man, to share that community with the VBRNT family?
Well, there are some things even a movie can’t capture.
