😷 Halls from Hell 😷
ITV News investigated growing concerns around student accommodation as demand reaches record high and supply struggles to match student expectations.
We heard from hundreds of students who told us about constant leaks in their flats, mould that was never remedied, vermin that took months to solve, and one student was using a bucket to shower… for a whole month.
Most importantly, students said they felt their concerns went ignored with issues rarely solved, if at all

‼️ After the high: Chemsex, beyond the myths ‼️
Following months of investigation, ITV News found healthcare, law enforcement and nonprofit professionals are sounding the alarm at a lack of wider action around ‘chemsex’ - the use of drugs to enhance sex - and its related drugs.
Some very brave experts and heartbroken families and friends bravely shared their stories on the topic, in an attempt to reduce the stigma and shame that surrounds these particular drugs
We found a worrying lack of action into the extremely complex issue. Recommendations made to the previous government, which could help educate institutions to protect thousands of men who have sex with men across the country, were not acted upon.

But honestly, without Matt Williams, our digital editor, I would never have been in this position. Taking a chance on a journalist blagging his way into social media, has changed the trajectory of my career.
