It was a real pleasure sharing the GMB panel with @nicolamclean30 , one of the few people in her industry who speaks openly about her struggles. Her honesty continues to inspire so many.
I used to sit and watch E! News on the red carpet as a child and dream one day I’d be able to do the same and we just did the Brits!
So much fun working with the legend @dan.ajose on this one and Sasha Keable loves me so mission accomplished.
Tonight I’m celebrating being nominated for a Medical Journalists’ Association Award - for our investigation into the UK’s unregulated cosmetic industry.
One story that will always stay with me is Sasha Dean’s. When I first spoke to her, she was in hospital fighting for her life after a liquid BBL left her with sepsis and organ failure. She is thought to be the UK’s worst surviving case.
Our investigation helped push the government to introduce new laws on who can carry out these procedures.
