Aside from our elopement nuptials, we took the time to take a spiritual pilgrimage back to the source of our blood’s origins.
This trip was lifechanging and in doing so inspired me to combine my career with my history 🇲🇽

All of April and up until the last weekend of May I was in a weird space mentally and took time to heal. I was such in a funk and needed to reset.
I was able to catch up with a few close amigas and I was reminded to slow down, baby steps and remember we are always surrounded by beautiful supportive humans.

A few weeks ago I attended the Illustrious Awards Night held by @mexamcef
Boy oh Boy was it a night to remember, I went to support our @homegoingfilm and to witness @soniabalcazar take center stage as she hosted the awards that night.
In return I received so much inspiration being surrounded by the Hollywood I want to be involved with. The Hollywood that not only shares our stories but uplifts our voices.
What I learned is that it does take just one person but we are stronger in numbers. Hollywood is different now but because our people had the courage to challenge the status quo when the odds were against us.
I am inspired and am working on something that I hope will continue to do just that 🇲🇽♥️
