This is a huge panoramic illustration i made for Realtor.com’s speakeasy bar at IBS (international builders show - not the other thing) back in February.
The general vibe was #littleHavana, so i listened to a lot of Afro-Cuban Jazz whilst making it, which also doubled as a winter warmer as i made this in early January. It was a great project to disappear into for ten days. Big thanks to hardcore CD Jeremy and Team Realtor - also @_debutart for taking care of bizniz

Great working for Knowable Magazine again.
This one’s about corporate crime, and the absolute lack of national statistics to track their dirty deeds.
Really enjoyable working in a stripped back palette and letting the colours do more of the narrative heavy lifting. Thanks to Lisa for the art direction.

Here's a cover and some spot illustrations I did for @pennsas - The Penn Arts & Sciences magazine.
This issue looks at the world of illusion across the faculty.
The starting point for this cover was obviously MC Escher’s fiendishly clever Relativity. The challenge, on top of conveying a gravity defying space was to include text in an interesting way. Always up for a challenge I decided to bake the text into the architectural bedrock of the image, cutting away sections to attempt to blur the boundary between the 2D text and the depicted 3D space. Also I wanted to create voids of space juxtaposed with regular apertures to further create a sense of flux and unreality.

This evolved from something I did for @fastcompany a while ago. Back when things were a bit more abstract. It was originally for a feature about virtual reality. Bit of a Black Lodge floor reference.
I didn't realise until a while later what a big deal it was to make this poster for @Phish - But i did know what a big deal it was to be given full creative reign - something that aligns with the band's core principles i guess.
It was a shame that the layered files sunk without a trace amidst a catastrophic hard-drive wreckage - certainly learned something that day about backing up stuff
