BBC Proms, tribute to Lata Mangeshkar at the Royal Albert Hall. Iām still completely overwhelmed by this magical experience and donāt have the words to describe how it felt so all I want to do is give thanks.
First to @nileeka for her undying and unwavering faith in me being able to do this performance justice, to Padma ji & @gaurisharmatripathi for letting me in and patiently teaching and sharing with me this iconic choreography with all the love in their heart. To my family and friends who screamed the Royal Albert Hall down while I was on stage, to @palakmuchhal3 for being the most beautiful voice for me to dance on and share the stage with, and finally the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra for carrying the entire night on their shoulders.
Everything about that night was only thanks to all of you. It was an honour to be a part of this little piece of history, this night will live with me forever. Thank you ā„ļø
A palace as beautiful as this, how can you not dance? āØ
Built in the 1800s in the Victorian architectural style with elements of Georgian decor, it is now the home of the royal family of Mayurbhanj. During the merger of the princely state to the Union of India, the property was titled palace as to pay homage to the royal family that moved into it post independence as their primary residence.
Tucked away in the quaint heritage town of Baripada in Mayurbhanj, Odisha, the Palace is a beautiful piece of Kalinga history that redefines the idea of a hotel, and is 4-5 hours from the state capital of Odisha, Bengal and Jharkhand.

Spent the last month playing assistant choreographer for @fionagoradiaproductions & @vaipamumbai . Danced lots, laughed lots, overdosed on chai, retro Bollywood music, and dancer cuddles. Grateful to be able to spend everyday doing what I love, learning new things, meeting new people, and exploring new projects. Thank you Gods of India! ā„ļøāØš±

Iāve been enjoying keeping dance more and more offline recently. Creating without the pressure of posting, a few steps at a time, performing for real audiences over virtual ones. But I seem to have forgotten that I do also have to share what I teach so hereās a recent combo from my classes at the Hub šā„ļø
