New band photo for Sallow Moth, officially welcoming @allengingerich6969 as the drummer, starting with the upcoming album ‘Hydrophilous Brood’. He knocked out the drum recording for the album super efficiently couple weeks back. Very excited about it.
Currently in the finishing process of mixing the album and will be looking for a label soon.
I have the privilege of playing drums on the next @sallowmoth full length. I'm beyond stoked about these tunes and they're so damn fun to play. Really awesome proggy death metal.
Here's a clip of one of the songs I finished recording today. This take might be a little sloppier than I would have liked but im worn out from recording all day haha.
It’s been a fulfilling year creatively. With the 2 new @sallowmoth EPs out today that concludes my output for 2025. There’s more written, but will be for next year. I appreciate all the support, collaborations, and artists hired.

Just saw an article on Angry Metal Guy today mentioning EPs from last year. In case you missed the 2 side quests after Mossbane Lantern. Blue Permutations and Deformity in Ceremony. Both self released in November. Both seen as extended variations of the sounds on Mossbane Lantern.
Not only am I playing drums on the entirety of the next Sallow Moth album, but I also have a guitar solo or two on there.
Here's one of them. This record is also nearing completion and I couldnt be more excited to get it out. The music is incredible and im so happy I get to be a part of it.
NEW RELEASE
Sallow Moth 'Mossbane Lantern'
As soon as the opening of the first track kicked in, I pulled a face at my phone that would have read 'fucking hell'. This is death metal of pure intensity, technicality and heaviness, going ballistic from the get go. The music transcends into madness, leaving us having to think quick and guess what the fuck comes next. Blastbeats? Pace change? Time signature change? There's a lot of elements to wrap your head around, making this style of death metal enter the realms of prog, but this gets extreme, touching base with black metal and grindcore at times. Garry Brents is the mad man behind Sallow Moth, and if describe him as nothing less than a mad scientist.

Short double review I found on the 2 new Sallow Moth EPs ‘Blue Permutations’ and ‘Deformity in Ceremony. Both released on November 21. Thanks ‘Trash Takes Album Reviews’ on Facebook.
From the newest ‘Things You Might Have Missed 2025’ article on @angrymetalguy featuring @sallowmoth Thank you. Full link in my bio.
“While it doesn’t fit neatly under either technical or brutal death metal, Mossbane Lantern cherry picks elements of each and infuses them with enough avant-garde, proggy nuttiness to trigger an allergic reaction. All told, Sallow Moth establishes a firmly singular take on death metal…
…Some listeners may find the adventure too jarring for their liking, but after spending time with Mossbane Lantern, I don’t find its components haphazard or incidental. Just the opposite—there’s a method to Sallow Moth’s madness, though it requires patience to appreciate. So grab your gear, head for Mossbane Lantern’s light, and prepare to get weird. It’s a trip you don’t want to miss.”
In case you missed out or just got into the @sallowmoth Sallow Moth LP from this year recently, there’s 2nd edition vinyl still available. And digipak cds still available. Cheers. Links to label pages for both in my bio.
Really cool review of @dharmedforces top 10 albums with @sallowmoth ‘Mossbane Lantern’ as his number 1 on Invisible Oranges. Thank you.
