This book has lived in my head and my body for a long time. It’s a family novel about three sisters, a missing collection of art, and the way memory, exile, and inheritance shape who we become. It is also a story about queer love, and the politics of intimacy.
It’s about what we remember, what we choose to forget, and what refuses to let us go.
