Just captured the newest version of my Rilks act - “The Guest House”🫀
I think this is V4, and she’s still very much a work in progress.
I’m learning to slow down and really be with the act instead of rushing to “finish” it. As artists we carry a vision… a feeling… a story… and every version gets us a little closer. We discover new moments, new textures, new truths.
And we also have to make peace with the fact that what we feel in our soul may never fully translate into the physical world. 👁️
But we keep going
Refining.
Growing.
Honoring the moments that matter.
Sharing what we can.
To bring visions and dreams to life takes so much support… and it’s vulnerable to even have a dream that feels out of reach… and even more vulnerable to ask people to invest their time and energy into helping you bring it into the world.
I’m here for the process though.
I think I’ll probably spend my whole life honing my vision and my story… and each version will hold moments I’ll cherish.
So grateful to @tinkerella111 , @adge_of_wellness , @brithesparklefairy and Cat for helping capture this version… and to @goodplanet for the beautiful edit I’ll be sharing soon. 🦄
