DJ basé à Marseille, co-fondateur de Styx, sacha (fka guerre maladie famine) s’est forgé une présence durable sur la scène musicale électronique, aussi bien en club que sur Soundcloud - où il s’attelle à la curation de sa série de mixes ‘Cringe Therapy’.
Via des rythmiques puisant dans les musiques « des Suds », des sonorités abrasives inspirée du punk/noise ou de la scène bass music, agrémentées de références à un prisme culturel post-internet, il dresse à travers ses propositions musicales le portrait d’une identité collective fragmentée, aussi consciente qu’émouvante.
Tissant des liens encore inexploités entre genres et interrogations personnelles, sacha entraîne son auditoire dans une quête fédératrice : créer un moment d’ouverture à des cultures inconnues, au sein duquel se retrouver pour danser et célébrer dans l’espace du club la naissance d’interstices sonores inattendus et d’outils de compréhension de l’Autre.
Based in Marseille and co-founder of Styx collective, sacha (fka guerre maladie famine) has carved out a lasting presence in the electronic music scene—both in the club and on SoundCloud, where he curates his signature mix series, ‘Cringe Therapy’.
Drawing from the rhythms of the « Global South, » abrasive textures inspired by punk and noise, and the weight of bass music, sacha’s sets are layered with post-internet cultural references. Through his musical storytelling, he paints a portrait of a fragmented collective identity that is as socially conscious as it is emotionally resonant.
By weaving untapped links between genres and personal inquiry, sacha leads his audience on a unifying quest: to create an opening toward unfamiliar cultures, providing a space to dance and celebrate.
