@a.j.tissian for our soon to be released new song “Zone of Interest” a/k/a “Interessengebiet”
“Interessengebiet” refers to the restricted, 40-square-kilometer area around the Auschwitz concentration camp complex established by the Nazis, a zone where the SS, Gestapo, and police operated freely to manage the extermination camps and surrounding infrastructure, becoming infamous due to its historical context. The song is about the events depicted in the movie “The Zone of Interest”.
It is only fitting that a mic fashioned after the Neumann CMV3 “Bottle“ was used. A complete coincidence but definitely a message.
