3 Course Sunday Roast @conarestaurant We are always on the hunt for a good Sunday Roast and had to try Cona in Manchester. They do a £45 3 course Sunday Roast and we loved it. The first course we tried their tempura king prawns and morel rigatoni. We really loved the rigatoni as it was super garlicky, buttery and saucy. The prawns were amazing too, they were covered in a sweet and spicy sriracha. For the second course we had to get the corn-fed chicken and salt marsh lamb roasts! They came with seasonal vegetables, massive Yorkshire puddings and a smooth gravy. The roast potatoes were so crispy. We were stuffed by the end! We also had to get the lamb chops, which were an extra charge but we highly recommend this as they were so so succulent! We tried the chocolate fondant with salted caramel ice-cream for the last course. This was the perfect sweet treat to end the meal! As always the service and atmosphere were 10/10! If you're looking for a halal Sunday roast, Cona is one to try! Where should we try next for our Sunday roast?

BUTTER CHICKEN HEAVEN @naanwichclub @naanwichclub are serving up some of the best wraps and pizzas in Manchester! We got to try their butter chicken naanwich, the butter chicken pizza, paneer loaded masala fries and their chicken 65 bites. We also drowned everything in their signature makhani sauce pot! The naanwich was stuffed with juicy chicken and drowned in their creamy, buttery makhani sauce, we got ours with pickled slaw, mango chutney and garlic and chilli sauce, the perfect combo. The pizza was also one of the best pizzas I've had. It was unique as it had a makhani base instead of your classic tomato and it hit differently. They're a ghost kitchen in Ardwick, so definitely check them out!

Sushi night with the girlies at @chottomattemcr We headed down to chotto matte in Manchester for a girls night out and honestly we loved the vibes. We got a selection of sushi and small plates including the spicy tuna crispy sushi, shrimp tempura, sato maki and the dragon roll. For small plates we also got the pollo den miso and lamb chops. We really enjoyed the food especially the sushi as everything tasted fresh! For dessert we had to get the salted caramel chocolate fondant and the cinnamon churros as a sweet treat is a must. The vibes here are so nice and will definitely be back in the summer to check out their roof terrace. This place is definitely on the pricey side and the portions are quite small for what you are paying but if you're looking to try somewhere new for a special occasion I'd check it place out.

The best spicy chicken burger in Bury!? 🍔 We recently visited @peckdmcr in Bury to try out their insane range of burgers. We had to get the spicy dipped chicken burger of course. Honestly, this one is ranked high! The chicken was spiced to perfection! And not too messy which is a bonus. We also got the smashed chilli burger. These patties were super thin and crispy and had chilli sauce and pickled jalapenos. But the burger bun is what stole the show. It's really what sets this place apart from the rest. They're freshly baked from a local bakery too. They were crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside. Love the attention to detail they added here. We also had to get curry loaded fries. Imagine your classic chips and curry but leveled up! We really enjoyed this!

New opening in Bury!! @fratelli_della_pizza has finally opened in Bury and they are offering New York Style pizzas and more... We had The Goat, The Spring Chicken (special) and a selection of sides which includes Mushroom arinchini, parmesan & truffle fries, mozzarella sticks and buffalo fried chicken. The pizzas were so good! They had a thin and crispy base and we highly recommend getting The Goat! It was drizzled with a delicious green pesto. For sides, the arinchini is a must try, paired perfectly with a garlic aioli. The mozzarella sticks had an insane cheese pull too! For dessert they had a selection of soft serve and got The Dua Lipa which was drizzled with olive oil and sea salt. Honestly, this really surprised us at how good it was! 🐔 Chicken is halal ** This place is perfect for a casual date night or family meal out

NEW OPENING IN BOLTON!! We were kindly invited down to Bolton's newest opening @straight_outta_nashville to try out their menu! We tried the MC Shroomz smashed burger, the NWA chicken burger, the chicken loaded fries, spicy chicken tenders and their Cheesecake! Guys, the burgers are unreal, especially the smashed burgers which had crispy potato sticks and mushrooms in it. The chicken burger had a real kick to it and the chicken tenders were so succulent. However, our favourite had to be the chicken loaded fries. They smother the fries in hot cheese and sauce! For dessert we tried their oreo cheesecake which is by The Cheesecake factory! Perfect thing to end the meal with! Check this place out! Thank you @halalingaround & @zoom1productions for hosting 🙌🏽

CURRY NIGHT AT SHIMLAS!! Last week we were kindly invited down to @shimlasrestaurants in Oldham which has been recently renovated! We tried the chicken karahi, Naga Donner and dynamite prawns. Honestly, the chicken karahi was so good! If you love a proper authentic karahi then it is the perfect dish to get and it's great for sharing! The Naga Donner is possibly my favourite donner that I've tried! It's stir fried with peppers and super saucy. It also comes with a garlic mayo sauce which is such a good addition! Ofc we had to complete the meal with pilau rice naan and chips! For mocktails we got the blue lagoon and passion fruit! Super refreshing. The service and atmosphere were great and with the refurbishment, the vibes are so nice making it perfect for a family outing!

IFTAR AT AFRIKANA!! We recently popped down to @afrikanamanchester to check out their Ramadan offerings and we absolutely loved it. Firstly, we tried their Ramadan grilled platters which came with tender lamb chops, wings and grilled lamb that came with flatbread and fries. This is so perfect for families to share! We had to try their new pulled beef Mac and cheese which was so creamy and filling. The beef was really tender. We also got nachos, which were loaded with toppings and a great appetiser! We had to try the jambalaya too. This had a kick to it and when I tell you guys the prawns in the jambalaya were massive. They were very generous with the portion! We treated ourselves with their delicious mocktails and for dessert we had to get the lava cake which was so chocolatey and moist. During Ramadan they are offering dates and fruit platters to break your fast with! They have a 25% off food offer between the 23rd and 26th of February when you book ahead! I can't wait to go back for Iftar! Check it out! #i̇ftar #iftarideas #ramadanmeals #mcrfood #currymile

NEW RESTAURANT OPENING IN MANCHESTER! @kouba.uk is a new cafe and Lebanese eatery in Deansgate! We visited last week to check it out and tried a few of their dishes! For starters we got hummus and babaganoush which came with bread. The hummus was so smooth and creamy. For mains we got the mixed grill, shish tawook and the kebab hindi chicken. We really liked the shish tawook as the chicken was succulent and juicy. For dessert we had to get the cookies and ice cream! Super lovely, just wish the cookie was warm. We went on a Friday night and it was packed so there was around a 20 minute wait and the service was slow as expected for a new restaurant but the staff were really friendly and still attentive! I'd love to go back in a few weeks to check out their brunch menu and café! #manchesterrestaurant #deansgate #manchesterfood #mcreats #lebanesefood
