ERCOLA DANST ‼️Because of the large number of guests we will split the audience into two groups. The first wave will be at 20u. The second wave at 21:30 ‼️ Everyone is welcome from 19:45 (there will be a bar). UPPERDOG Together with actor and musician Lukas Rys, I (Kika) have been working on a new piece called UPPERDOG. We will present a glimpse of the performance , produced by @comp.marius which will later premiere at the Marius festival in July. Together, we explore the intersection of dance and physical theatre. UPPERDOG is a raw and tender exploration of what it means to be human. A journey into a shadow world of symbols and ideas where contradictions can exist side by side. LIEU DE MÉMOIRE A solo by Aster Henderieckx on remembering and forgetting. The body and space form a consciously constructed site of memory, where the past must be actively invoked and sustained. Accompanied by a large white sheet that is part of the setting, Aster moves through the space, making forgetting visible; what slips away, what fades, and what must be held in motion to remain. THE SPIRAL The Spiral is a dance piece coordinated by brother and sister Chi An and Mei Li Dong Páez, blending science, music and dance. The Spiral uses the methodology of complex systems science to create a self-organized dance, that is, a dance that creates itself. In The Spiral, dance is the embodiment of matter's primal impulse to organize itself. An impulse that blurs the barrier between the living and the inert, between human beings and nature. Vroege ochtenden, de kans om te experimenteren en een visie tot leven te wekken. Dit was de residentie van Lukas! Van 01.03 tot 13.03 resideerde @ryslukas in De Klap in het kader van zijn residentie met Arenberg, waar werkte aan de releaseshow van zijn album, Paper Box Out of the Future. Waarin Lukas een stem gaf aan de de personages van zijn dystopische wereld.

It's been almost two weeks since the release show of Paper Box in the Future, and it was everything I could have hoped for.
