I Met the team from @kairosfutura yesterday and I keep thinking about what it means to carry a future on your body. 1 &2 :The Wild Future Tarot (I got mycelium) a card game where you imagine your great-grandchild waking up in the world on the card, and write them a letter. They’ve built a time capsule to send the letter 3 & 4: The portable seed bank dress holds hundreds of glass vials, each one sourced through oral transmission: three generations of Kenyan (oral)community knowledge about which seeds matter, where they come from, what they remember. They then scouted the seeds matching these oral tales.
