A limbo walk through the echo of memory Fri 12 December 2025 - Sun 21 December 2025 Ruilin Fu’s practice addresses the situation of women, diaspora experience, and the confusion of contemporary youth, within the context of Chinese culture. Stemming from a background in printmaking, Fu embraces process, engaging intimately with media and materials such as human hair, 3D printing, wood, and latex. She explores embodiment through installation, virtual experience, and live performance. Her work is driven by a profound empathy that transcends individual narratives, forging connections between artist and viewer, and among viewers themselves. This shared humanity forms a connective tissue that transforms personal exploration into a universal dialogue. Private view evening 12th December. Opening times 11am-5pm on 14th, 20th and 21st December

‘I breathe through your body and it feels like pain’ is a limbo walk through the echo of memory. Ghostly figures recur, emerging from uncertainty of people, time, and space, giving voice to what is difficult to express. This exhibition will presents installation, my works-in-progress projects that investigate the concept of home. I am deeply grateful to share my works and creative explorations in this intimate space that carries a sense of warmth and belonging. ♡ Opening night: 12th December 18:00-21:00 Open hours: 14th/ 20th/ 21th December 11:00-17:00 Address: Torriano Meeting House, 99 Torriano Ave, London NW5 2RX @torrianomeetinghouse

Exhibition Highlights: “Mama l” by Ruilin Fu @rynn_f_ “At the core of Fu’s work lies a quiet but insistent empathy-an impulse to connect deeply with others across boundaries of language, history, and place. By exploring maternal relationships, her works engage with the complexities of rupture, care, and healing. It invites not only reflection, but emotional resonance-fostering shared encounters between artist and audience. At the point of this work, personal exploration is allowed to be transformed into collective dialogue. Through a poetic fusion of materiality and metaphor, she constructs spaces where vulnerability becomes a site of power, and where fractured identities might find coherence through communal experience.” — Ruilin Fu #emergingartist #londonartscene #londonartexhibition #installationartist #multimediaart

Introducing Ruilin Fu @rynn_f_ Ruilin Fu is a visual artist whose interdisciplinary practice explores the condition of women, diasporic experience, and the emotional disorientation of contemporary youth-often through the lens of Chinese cultural identity. Trained in printmaking, Fu brings a deep sensitivity to material and process, working with diverse media including human hair, latex, wood, and 3D printing. Her installations, performances, and immersive virtual environments are grounded in a tactile, embodied approach to storytelling. At the core of Fu’s work lies a quiet but insistent empathy-an impulse to connect deeply with others across boundaries of language, history, and place. Whether exploring maternal relationships in Mama I (2025) or migration and cultural grafting in Grafting (2023), her works engage with the complexities of rupture, care, and healing. Each piece invites not only reflection, but emotional resonance-fostering shared encounters between artist and audience, and among viewers themselves. Fu’s art transforms personal exploration into collective dialogue. Through a poetic fusion of materiality and metaphor, she constructs spaces where vulnerability becomes a site of power, and where fractured identities might find coherence through communal experience. Please keep tuned for more! @modern_nomadic_melodrama Private view with a performance and a workshop : August 20th 2025, 17:00-20:00 Location: Safehouse 2, 137 Copeland Road, London.
