The heavy metal community came thru yesterday reminding us that we can still rely on good people in these times of insanity. My two 1979 lefty Guild B302 basses got left at the venue in Little Rock, lost in the shuffle on the first day of tour. We were unaware until we unloaded in St. Louis the next day. On the fly, I called my new friend
@thelanatic who had been videoing the gig the previous nite. Lane and his wife Tracey drove 6 hours to deliver my basses without batting an eye. I covered all their expenses and more as those instruments are irreplaceable, prized heirlooms to me. I still didn’t have a lefty bass for the gig in STL but my pal
@garrettenloe9 came thru with a new lefty sunburst G&L to save the day, which he bought and returned on the spot. For the first time in BAT history our guitars matched color on stage. Thanks to
@deadbirddoom for helping out, plus Samantha and Chris
@revroomlr for tracking it down. The VÖIBAT TOUR marches on!
