Some wedding details are pretty... ...and then some stop you in your tracks. Marissa and Cory’s sweetheart table at The Willows at Ashcombe Mansion was absolutely one of those for me. I honestly do not share detail shots nearly enough, but this setup? I couldn’t not reshare it. This is how you do a sweetheart table. The JDK Group floral team absolutely crushed it with every layer of this design. The florals, the texture, the depth, the candlelight, the greenery wall - all of it came together so perfectly. And then there was that little strip of light hitting the neon “The Shipleys” sign at the top. That was not staged. That was not planned. That was just the sun showing off at exactly the right moment. And that’s the magic of a wedding day. You can plan beautifully. You can design intentionally. You can bring together an incredible team. But there are always these little unexpected moments that happen in real time - the kind you never could have imagined being even better than the original vision.
