I hope this set is a sign of what’s to come for @mollsolszew_pottery and my journey together. This set is made up of my bowl and Mollys cups. Both thrown in the same @standardclaycompany 112 speckled clay and glazed with @amacobrent honey flux and iron luster. We fired them together this thanksgiving and love how they look together. The giraffe sculpture is complete and ready for sale. Thanks to my neighbor for the amazing piece of wood for the base that finally finished it off. It’s about 27” tall by 12”x12”. Made with boneware clay and finished with special matt chroma paints for wildlife sculptures. He is modeled after the super cool Tatu from the @lvzoo Even comes with the little leg scar Tatu earned.
