What a privilege to play for the Deadline Hollywood event again last night. Bringing all the celesta/organ/harpsichord sounds for your favorite spooky TV shows of the last season (Wednesday, Alien: Earth) as well as some bad-ass synths for The Boys. Great to reconnect with @clennertzmusic and hang with some amazing colleagues. Thank you @tuffonix for bringing together such a marvelous group again and for inviting me to be a part of it!

Probably every writer knows that writing means rewriting — and writing a new musical means rewriting endlessly. As we’re deep into workshop mode for “Miss Foxhole 1975,”I couldn’t be happier to be rewriting endlessly with this pair of superhuman songwriters: lyricist @valvigoda & composer @ryanomusic .
Thrilled to be at Baltimore Center Stage for the next two weeks doing a workshop of our musical Miss Foxhole 1975. Doing furious rewrites with our team - Val Vigoda, Joe DiPietro, director Lisa Peterson and MD Laura Bergquist - and living in awe of the genius theatre brains I get to surround myself with every day. We are working day and night, tearing the show apart and putting it back together in a wonderful new way, and hearing our new stuff every day performed by a glorious cast of talented actors. Living the dream. Get ready for the next phase of Miss Foxhole 1975!
Spent my day on the podium at Disney Imagination Campus, and now I get to spend my night on the podium at Musical Theatre West. Magic all around. In our increasingly isolated, increasingly slop-filled world, it’s more important than ever to remember our human connection and the absolute urgent value of real people making real music together in a real room. I’m so grateful for ALL the companies I work for (Disney, MTW, La Mirada/McCoy Rigby, Goodspeed, et al.) who are dedicated to celebrating human creativity and keeping live performance alive.
We’ve been so busy I forgot to post a first day of school pic! One week into rehearsals and I cannot WAIT to bring this to SoCal audiences. Yesterday made my heart so happy for so many reasons. Seeing all the Indiana gear in my now-home; being warmly welcomed by Angelenos who assumed we were from out of town; seeing my old classmate Tiffany lead the Marching Hundred as their first female director and KILL IT; listening to the old songs live in all their glory again and remembering all the traditions and cheers (and mellophone choreography); hearing the Hundred scream “ooooo ROSE BOWL” and actually MEAN IT; getting to see my wife become an honorary Hoosier; and seeing the Hoosiers emerge victorious as winners of the ROSE BOWL. I cannot adequately describe the joy and excitement that our Indiana section experienced yesterday, but boy am I glad I was there to see it. Huge thank you to both of my parents for helping us buy the tickets and making sure that I would be able to see my own team win this historic season. HAIL TO OLD IU!
