I had a day off on Tuesday so I decided to treat myself to a nice coffee and breakfast at @theartofcoffee_dublin on Thomas Street.
While I was there I was inspired by the beautiful range of plants in the courtyard so I had to get my sketchbook out.
Inked with my Lamy Al Star Fountain Pen and painted with Cotman Watercolours.

I'm very lucky to work from Dublin Castle in the city centre.
After two years of construction work to get the area ready for the EU Presidency, the scaffolding is finally coming down.
Sketch and painting of the colourful view from my office window.
I had a great start to my morning attending the Bealtaine: Beginner Watercolour Workshop in Walkinstown Library.
Huge thank you to @elaine_watters_art for the great introduction to watercolor landscapes.
You helped me get over my fear of clouds and skies!
I spent two wonderful days working in Galway City this week.
Before work I was able to take advantage of the sunny mornings to get out and paint.
I usually start with ink first then add paint but I reversed it this time and really enjoy it. Concentrating on the larger shapes and colours made the process a lot more relaxing!
I had a lovely afternoon in St Stephen's Green painting the Superintendent's Lodge for International Urban Sketchers Week. @urbansketchers
Thanks to @dublin_sketchers for the route and inspiration today.
Pages from my sketchbook after an amazing day out in Dingle this weekend.
I spent a few hours with my nephews at @dingleaquarium , then ice cream and a deep fried Mars bar at @harringtonsrestaurant_dingle .
Dingle was amazing as always.
