A celebration of Ryan at one of his favorite places with his favorite people.
This has been hard to plan. Not the logistics but the idea of memorializing Ryan. He is still so alive in our home, the mountains, our record players, everywhere. But he’s also alive in all of the people who loved him. It doesn’t have to feel like a goodbye.

To Ryan’s unwavering community of support,
Last night, with the love of his life by his side, our strongest and kindest buddy let himself rest. These last few weeks had taken a particularly heavy toll on Ryan’s body, and with the help of his incredible healthcare team, he was able to be very comfortable in his last moments with us.
Ryan received an outpouring of love in his final days from visitors, phone calls, and messages passed to him through Hilary.
Something Hilary has learned throughout this whole journey is that support takes many shapes and looks different for everyone. She is immensely grateful for whatever form of support you were able to give: taking care of their home, caring for Lemon, visiting, texting messages of support, donating, attending EyestoneFest, sending loving thoughts, etc. The list goes on and on. She and Ryan are grateful for it all.
Here it is. I’ve discovered and listened to 99% of this since I’ve been the hospital. There are definitely a ton of things I didn’t get to listen to yet, but I’ll swoop those up later. Drop into the comments or DMS if you want to talk music. Whew! PS No Spotify here, old-school list only.
Shoutout today to the extremely talented artist @edacrossthestreet . Ed has been a huge supporter of my artwork for over a decade, and though we’ve never met in person, I consider him a friend. Ed has been thriving in recent years with tattoo work and show fliers, as well as this INSANE album art for @contractkillerca . Go snag a copy from @selfinflictedrecords while you can, it’s a great release. Thanks also to Self Inflicted for hooking up the Provoke split, you rule. Thank you Ed for the endless support. Watching @chrislink rocking the Cruel Hand “Eyestone Benefit” jersey all the way across Europe with @terrorhardcore , especially in all this insane footage from Revolution Calling, has made me feel absolutely amazing. I’m still fighting it out in a hospital bed in Boston, but I feel like I’m there with him every morning when I wake up to see new reels on Instagram. Thank you for the endless support, my friend.
