I’m really proud of this one.
This interview with Greg Eklund of Everclear took a long time to put together, but it was absolutely worth the wait.
What started as a conversation about music became a really honest discussion about creativity, anxiety, pressure, identity, burnout, success, and figuring out life after being part of one of the biggest alternative rock bands of the 90s.
Greg was incredibly open, funny, thoughtful, and real throughout the entire interview.
As someone who loves long-form conversations and genuinely meaningful interviews, this is exactly the kind of thing I hope Secret Chord can continue becoming.
There are so many great stories in here, but also a lot of wisdom and humanity.
I think musicians, creative people, Everclear fans, and honestly anybody trying to navigate life and pressure will get something out of this discussion.
