First ever @redlandsclassic ✅ Going into this race I honestly had no idea what to expect. From new teammates to the biggest road race for me. It was kind of a big unknown. But we made some shit happen! Not much to write back on from the TT put down a good time for my first TT but nothing special. First circuit (crit) ended up placing in all the green jersey sprint points and left the day in 3rd in points. Crafton finished up in the lead group. I was very happy with that because it was mostly just GC riders finishing at the front of it. @marcisshelton bringing home 3rd on the day! Then there was crit day! Planned on getting more green jersey points. Placed in 6/7 of them. With about 30 min to go I ended up in a 3 man break. We work really well together but couldn’t hold off the chasing field and got brought back with 2 to go. Going into sunset I was 2nd in 🟢 and sprint points were within the first 5 min of the race. Unfortunately I got straight up beat in both. @marcisshelton with 2nd on the day! But finished my first Redlands in 2nd in sprint classification so gotta be happy with that! Huge thanks to the entire @compedgeracing team! These boys put it all on the line to help me get to the finish line each time they called those points and I can’t thank them enough. 26th at cyclocross worlds! 🌎🌈 After a very rough start was able to put down a clean race and work my way through the field for top 30. Racing worlds has been one of the biggest goals since I started racing and it didn’t disappoint! Thank you Hulst! @ucicyclocrossworldcup maasmachelen This race really opened my eyes to what the future could look like, but flat tires had other plans for me. Had a really good start that put me to mid 20s. Lap 3 had my first flat put me to mid 30s then second flat happened 50 feet past the pit and had to ride half lap on rim. Finished up 42nd but very happy with that one! Some of the most fun I’ve had in Spain 🇪🇸 the past two weeks! By far the coolest place bike riding/racing has taken me. You can be out on any ordinary ride and see a handful of the worlds best out training on the same roads your there for. Great time with friends and amazing riding. Wrapped up the kerst period with zonhoven World Cup! By far one of the coolest bike races I have ever done. Finished up 42nd on the day and 10th U23. Went a little deep trying to get into the top 40 and ended up blowing up a bit. Only one race left here in the states 🇺🇸 That means focus is starting to turn towards Europe — the heart of the sport.🇧🇪🇳🇱 This is only half way through my Cx season with the bigger races ahead.
