Marrying the love of your life already has you feeling on top of the world, but working with @wearlabel & @gladsonltd had us feeling like a million bucks. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or better custom suits that we’ll cherish forever
One of the coolest parts of the wedding for me was @tanyarad trusting me to design the artwork… knew early on our colors would be green and beige… but it didn’t get off to a great start when the first thing I showed her was #1… which was more of a joke at first but I actually really loved it for 2 reasons - 1) the hotel is full of similar potted tropical plants and 2) early in our relationship we met a wise older couple that, on the topic of step kids/step parents, told us “the trees grow where the sun shines” which meant a lot to us and I thought this design represented perfectly with the 4 stalks… still this was a hard “no” as she understandably wanted something more elegant for our wedding invitations… so after a few iterations #2 and #3 were born and we used these on our invitations and other wedding stationary… then we realized we wanted something more “fun” for some of the merch and back came the potted plant babyyy with the v significant addition of the butterflies… the only question was what color green… I liked the light green in 7, she liked the darker green in 8, so… we obv went with 8… and the RAD YAD was perfect for the coconuts… I had the best time designing these as a labor of love and loved seeing everyone rocking them all weekend 🌴🪴🥥
Happy birthday to my main man!! Officially a teenager (!!!), too cool for pics now so scrounged up a few recent ones… I love you with all my heart… from the very start of your life you were mature beyond your years…. An old soul…. Self-aware, empathetic, equal parts tough and sensitive in all the best ways… I am beyond impressed with the principled, determined, hilarious young man that you are, and thank my guardian angels everyday for making me your dad… got your back always my dude!!
