Rust & Wax is looking to hire for two positions: A 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴/𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 and a 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗕𝘂𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴/𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲!
Pay is determined off experience; however, we offer a competitive starting base hourly rate above the state minimum wage. Both positions will start out at 15-25 hours per week. Must be available to work at least one weekend day, in addition to weekday shifts during our regular business hours.
𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
👉21 years of age or older preferred
👉Organized & detail oriented
👉Good communication skills
👉Team player
👉Hard worker
👉Retail/customer service experience is a big plus! (Record Shop/Book Shop/Comic Book Shop/Gift Shop)
👉 Experience with buying and selling on Discogs (or other online platforms) is preferred (for Used Pricing & Buying/Sales Associate position)
👉Knowledge of records & turntables is a must
👉Must be able to lift heavy boxes (40+ pounds)
👉Available to work approximately 15-25 hours a week, including at least one weekend day, in addition to weekday shifts during our regular business hours.
👉Preferably someone who plans to stay in the Palm Beach County area for the next few years (this is not a seasonal or summer position)

One week ago today, y’all came out in full force and filled our shop with smiling faces, great vibes, and some serious indie record shop love. Grateful to say that same energy has continued throughout this whole week.

Coming out of Record Store Day recovery 🫠 and feeling the desire to say THANK YOU once again to everyone who came out to support our shop this weekend! Months of planning, tons of late nights at the shop, and (of course) each of you showing up helped to make this our best Record Store Day yet!
