Slept on this album but I get it. After the major run of Daddy Yankee , Don Omar ,Tego Calderรณn and their counterparts my musical journey into Reggaeton kinda dwindled. Bad Bunny wasnโt an artist I was interested in (no shade) but alas Iโm a connoisseur of music and wanted to give this much acclaimed 6th album a listen. And I was impressed it actually reminded me of some of my favorite reggaeton and Haitian Kompa artist. The sound is layered. The nod back to the sounds and artist that preceded him is reflected. A modern take on the genre while keeping the classic spirit of what came before. Am I a fan. Probably not. Not in the way fandom can be defined. I like this album tho.
