RETROPHASE a combination of “retrofit” and “telophase” (a stage in cell division) - inspired by Yoko Ono’s “Cut Piece” is a collaboration between @ruptekprojects and @georgia_ic25 focused on sustainability as grounds for conceptual potency beyond its necessary roll in the cycle of consumption. Furniture and Cloths alike are chopped and spliced together partially holding there original form while taking on new properties as part of a larger “organism”. Formally and functionally “reincarnated”
