Marathon weekend came and went fast, but the energy around this one is going to stay with us for a while. From the run club shakeouts that brought together crews from across the city, to @painintheaspinall ’s artwork across our collection with @nikerunning , the RunAsYouAre x Nike Café with @tvdinnershop , RunReady assessments helping runners feel ready for race day, the RunToPlay missions across the city, and the music, cheers, and vocals from our Vibes & Energy Station during the race. Thank you to everyone who came through and made Along The Way what it became. This weekend was never just about the finish line. It was about everything around it. The people you run with. The people that push you forward. The moments that stay with you long after the race is over. Vancouver, thank you for showing up the way you always do. Along The Way 💚

The marathon kicks off tomorrow. It’s about the people out there, running it, supporting it, and everything that happens Along The Way. So join us at our Vibes and Energy Station by RunAsYouAre x @nikerunning Not just a cheer station. This is our version of it. At the corner of Cornwall and Burrard, we’re bringing the vibes and energy. @goodnoisevgc singing live, led by @wdflandez . @ricouno on the decks. @flightcrewrunclub , @runready.io , and the community showing up together, for the people. Music, beats, vocals, and cheers for every runner coming through. If you ran last year, you felt it. If you didn’t, this is your chance to be part of it. Everyone’s welcome. Come through solo or with friends, or bring your whole run crew. Make some noise. Vibe to the music, share some good energy, and give runners a lift as they pass by. See you there. ✨✨✨ Sun, May 3 | 9:30am Cornwall & Burrard (Kitsilano sign) Along The Way.

Race Prep week 8/8. In the books ✅ Race Prep Spring Season with @adidasrunning and @maurten_official comes to a close with stronger runners, clearer plans, and a better understanding of how to Absorb, Bounce, and stay Stable through every step. Last week we celebrated the consistency, the progress, and the small wins that added up. Some have already hit their goals. Others are heading into the Vancouver Marathon this weekend ready to execute. From first sessions to final strides, it’s been eight weeks of showing up and ready for this weekends start line. Proud of this crew and how far they’ve come. Now it’s time to put their work to the test. See you this weekend at the Vancouver Marathon.

4 days until @bmovanmarathon eeek!!! Last year, I trained for BMO and had to pull out of the race due to my hip injury. It was so disappointing, and I wanted to do everything I could this training block to make sure that didn’t happen again. Working with the @runready.io team @runasyouare was such a game changer for being proactive about identifying and strengthening my weak points to stay injury-free. I’ve seen huge improvements in my form and mobility, and have learned so much about my body throughout the process. I can’t thank @jouen.chang and the RunReady team enough for all of their help getting me to the start line feeling stronger than ever!! 💚 #marathontraining #vancouverrunners #runready

EVERYONE! WE DID IT! 2-weeks ago I completed the @diezvista !! (my first ultramarathon🥹) And in truly miraculous fashion - everything… went… to… plan? When people say — 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴 — this is what they mean. If you’ve been following along since the beginning - you know that this journey to my first ultra came with many unknowns, and I tried my best to be prepared on all fronts — locking in on my training program, my fuelling strategy, and with the support and guidance from the @runready.io team — gain an in depth understanding of where my body was at to begin with, where my greatest areas of growth were, and most of all, learning, applying, and practicing all of the tools I learned along the way. I am proud to announce that I crossed the finish line with: ⭐️No injuries ⭐️No blisters ⭐️Able to walk up/down stairs by the next day ⭐️Had a GOOD time (despite not being able to breathe for 8.5 hours…) So what’s next? We are less than a week away from @bmovanmarathon where I will returning to my roots — the half marathon, and being able to see everything we’ve built but in quite a different race setting! One thing is for sure — my absorb and stability is 10000% up for the challenge ✨
