A powerful night on the South Side of Chicago ⚡️ Here are a few highlights from the South Side Cannabis & Community Symposium — where each voice brought a different perspective to the conversation: Peter Contos of @cannaequityil broke down cannabis laws — where things stand and what still needs to change. Our co-founder Carlos (@radshitdadshit ) shared the benefits of the plant, centering wellness and community. And Regina Hernandez of @legalaidchicago provided resources and guidance for those impacted by cannabis-related convictions. These are the conversations we need to have to break the stigma and move forward — together! Thank you @mcgillfor7th and @erin_vogel for putting together such an impactful symposium. We’re excited for what’s to come!

Not everyone takes up the call to run with cannabis, but the select few that do know they want more out of life. More intention, more meaningful moments with friends, and more personal bests lighting their path. With every medicated mile, they return this sacred plant back to the people where it belongs. @kagekami85 joined RHC early into our 2025 season and from day one, his dedication was apparent. He started showing up for himself consistently, working from being a novice runner in May, to crossing the finish line of his first 13.1 in September. Undergoing an incredible personal transformation, losing 60+ lbs in less than a year - JD is proof that mindful consumption paired with consistent effort can truly unlock a new version of yourself. “I’ve never been one to work out with big groups before. It makes me anxious, the thought of someone giving me a hard time for not being at their level/speed. With Runners High, it’s been a very welcoming and inspiring group from the beginning. When I started, I was only able to run for like a block, but the constant motivation and support of the group helped me conquer my first half marathon within 6 months.
