@grimaldiforum invited us to capture the photo shoot for their new production of Charlie & the Chocolate Factory which is playing in Monaco this December.

The Summer We Shot Daniel’s Room - a year ago we started with filming the enigmatic, rabbit-hole of a dream sequence at the @warwickarts studio. It was an important day 1 for the film, to achieve my vision for the sequence and find space to explore the more experimental aspects of our main character Emily’s journey with @shannoant as she sinks deeper into her past to confront her defining childhood memory. This was early in the process, before many of the production crew had been assembled and before our generous Kickstarter contributors help to raise the £3k. It was before I had the wonderful @ashconnaughtondp onboard as our DoP (who shot the majority of the film and who is kind of a big deal!), hence why I’m stomping about barefoot in 3 inches of water - yes, we really did lay a 10m pond liner and fill it with water! We have now begun our film festival run and are incredibly excited to show this film to as many people as possible.
