Our Matahari is five today đ
At four, when he wanted to speak seriously, he chose his words with care,
âsejujurnya, sesungguhnya, bahagia.â
And moments later, he might say âcempetâ instead of âpencet,â reminding us that he is still wonderfully a child.
He likes things in order, quietly arranging toys and little pieces of life, as if neatness helps him understand the world.
His teeth are growing, his thoughts are growing and his heart seems to grow the fastest of all.
This year, he has more friends. He is learning how it feels to belong, while staying gentle and kind.
He loves his sister deeply, always thinking of her first because sharing comes naturally when love is big.
Sometimes he still asks about Opa Yo. And somehow, in his own quiet way, he takes care of Oma Syl, offering presence instead of words.
He brings flowers. Plans surprises. Saves his coins, already dreaming of turning them into little gifts for us.
He collects stones from meaningful places, loves the market, making pudding and loving it even more when itâs time to eat.
This year, he begins kindergarten. His world grows wider with English, Italian and stories that travel across languages.
Still shy with new faces, yet greeting everyone kindly every morning:
