The Castaways washed up in Iloilo searching for the delicious seafood and inasal, the city is famous for.
Then they found some rabbits in the city and followed the rabbits into a little red door and entered wonderland at @rule42.ilo - an all woman owned and woman lead bar team who have a magical spot in the city of love!
They do amazing hospitality, drinks and mischief! But you‘ll be left looking all over at the beautiful space they’ve curated and you‘ll keep coming back to for the amazing experience.
@nctr.ilo started the night off with beautiful elixirs of jackfruit, sesame, cucumber and only delicious things from an even more delicious duo- Ryan says hes not a bartender but clearly is a magnificent maker of drinks and Johan is a master behind the wheel when it comes to tasting and making delicious things!
Then the castaways featured drinks of local flavors from Mangos gathered from the mountains of Leon, Roasted Budbud salt from Miagao, Chicken Inasal and a classic treat of Biscocho and Butterscotch from the famous @biscochohaus
A night of beautiful people, beautiful stories and a lot of laughter and drinks all around!

Friday, 15th of May, 7 to 9pm at @rule42.ilo in support of @castawaycocktailsph 's bar takeover.
Ever since we traded our specialty coffee beans for spirits and liquers, we've always wondered how it was to experience being served drinks from bartenders with world class pedigree. And this Friday, that'll become a reality, not just for us, but for all our guests who are tired of hearing us blabber about it.
The two man team behind Castaway Cocktails, Juagi and Sven, are former bartenders of Two Schmucks Barcelona, a space that bagged the 7th spot on the world's Top50 Best Bars list 2022.
Currently, the boys are going around the Philippines, doing shifts and takeovers at different bars and spaces, using local ingredients to create unique flavor profiles for each space they serve in.
And yes, lucky for all of us, they decided to drop by Iloilo, serving their concoctions from 9 till 1AM.
What will they serve this Friday? That we don't know, and we actually don't want to know. Just like you, we also want to be surprised. And we bet our left nuts that we will be.
With that said, Iloilo is not a cocktail drinking city. You know that, we know that. And that's what makes this Friday's event at Rule42 extra special.
