A little over half a year ago, I was working at Boulder Parc when a stranger politely asked for some help. He wanted to know the colour of the photo he was editing. To my surprise, he was a professional photographer and happened to be colour blind. I was in awe when I saw his work, particularly the pieces he captured on film.
Later, he introduced me to his friends Yasmeen and Wes, who are not only incredibly talented but also profoundly passionate about photography and film. Alex, Yasmeen, and I wove ideas together for a film shoot revolving around the concept of love and loss, with elements of surrealism. If you’ve been following my journey thus far, you must know how relevant these themes were to my life at the time. The whole experience was cathartic, to say the least.
Originally, we envisioned a bed on the beach from a script I had written for a short film. Logistically, we couldn’t make it happen, but from this limitation, something cool happened. The trio crafted something that resembles a reflection of a past dream. Even in the freezing cold, everyone was unwavering in their dedication to capture the shots.
Probably the most fun photoshoot I've ever participated in.
Thank you for accompanying me on this beautiful, wild journey that is life
Omg you can see my arms are jello by the end. I can’t believe I finally got an outdoor v8 woohoo. It’s a fun power endurance boulder called X Credit at TMU. Thanks to @lisamuel.b and @austinleeung for the footage and encouraging me to keep giving my best

One of the purest boulders I’ve ever experienced. People from around the world pull up to this random hike in the middle of a highway in Squamish to send this boulder. Although I sent this last year, I felt the same fear and excitement going for the repeat. I think the low tide dyno start makes it harder. I’d definitely come back to this every time I visit Vancouver. Thanks to all my friends and strangers cheering me on and @seannlinn@funnysillymonkey for the footage 😘
