Maybe you donât know this about me, but for nearly a decade Iâve been, via âosmosisâ, worked in the art and photography world. Iâve been assisting thoroughly and viscerally a visual artist who was a person extremely close to me when I was a teenager all the way up to my early adulthood. Through this person I could see how you become such an artist, the behind the scene, the thought behind every work of art, every picture, every sculpture, every conceptual work. Back then I was moving my first steps in my current profession, but I was also a dance educator and choreographer, so I was surrounded by people who were working in every art: dance of course, but also music, drama, and all the visual arts. Iâve collaborated with all sort of artists.
The beauty behind all this is, and has always been, so important to me. What we say, what we experience, what we make other peopleâs feel through Art is not only so magical and inexplicable at times, but it is also fundamental as humans. More often than not, it is the meaning of life itself. What is life without art?
@wong.tog captured the essence of our Motherhood, Unfiltered event beautifully. This picture, for some reasons, makes me very emotional: the focus on the women who joined me and my incredible co-host, creator of the event and brilliant person
@alexandraganzon , their smiles, their presence. Myself, doing exactly what I love doing the most and what I feel is my call (which is education and support given in safe, real spaces in honest and kind ways). An intimate, fun, beautifully curated place with a gorgeous vibe
@rubyworkspaces where we all felt welcomed and almost at home.
Beauty is both in the essence and in the details. And I think, in that specific moment, we had them both â¤ď¸
