It was the guests, the people they both chose to spend their day with. Okay okay so Rose absolutely did style her wedding to be my absolute dream but it was their guests that stole my heart and their beautiful doggo. Your personalities and your guest’s personality and a the light on the day are always my biggest inspiration. My photographs are full of feeling. My photographs reflect you, and your personalities. I’m influenced by all of the little bits of information I gather when we talk. I want to know all the random things you love and how you know your wedding party and everything about your day you’re excited for and… the bits that you’re not that excited for. Your personalities will set the tone for the kind of photographs I take, so please don’t be afraid to show me who you are. This family have welcomed me with such open arms twice now and will forever have a special place in my heart. If I told you how great Saturday was, you wouldn’t even believe me! These two had it all 💘 I’ve always said that my wedding photography is for couples who love tequila and sunshine, and these two beautiful humans love tequila and they are sunshine themselves 🌻 Thank you to @katie_dane_va of @holy_moly_matrimony for bringing these two (three including @patchypickles.rescueboy ) into my life. You promised me nothing but a goooood time and a good time was definitely had! Tbh, I cannot wait to be able to have enough time to actually have a proper drink with these two! ☀️I can’t tell you how lucky I feel to have this job. I have the absolute honour of capturing such an important day for so many different people. I create photographs that become family heirlooms, that hang in homes for years and years, that are printed and cherished and shared and loved forever. It really is more than an honour... there’s not a better word for it. I see so many weddings, sometimes 3 in just one weekend and none are ever the same. I never get bored and I still get surprised and I still cry at speeches and vows and all the little moments in between. I have the best job and it is made even better by having the kind of couples that trust me implicitly and know me as a person, not just a loud woman with a camera and a dirty laugh 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ Rose and Dave set the bar high for intimate weddings and dream couples. Rose and I had exchanged many Instagram messages previous to even talking about weddings.. anger at the way women are treated across the world, fury at the racism that still exists, the heart break all the awful things happening in the world but... also hilarious memes, relatable quotes and even pride in each other for achievements... our morals aligned 👌🏼 When she enquired with me about photographing her wedding with just their best mates & twin brother, I literally jumped for joy. I was already smitten with her and wanted her to be my bud and now she’s one of my brides and she fills me with pure pride. I will never get over how beautiful this day was and how much it filled me with hope & joy just knowing that more people like Rose exist (and you Dave, you’re great too) can everyone lay down on blankets after a three course meal, dance their hearts out as the sun starts coming down and finish up their wedding days with a dip in the ocean and a slice or 5 of pizza... please? Sophie and Jim’s Bristol wedding at The Mount Without was shaped by tarot, celestial details and a focus on family. They got ready together at home, and built a ceremony that placed their children at the centre - including a moment where their son stepped in to hug Jim when he got emotional. The reception carried the theme through signage, stationery and a custom guest book by Birdhouse 197, with thoughtful touches like child-friendly entertainment and place names that doubled as keepsakes. Later, the dancefloor paused for a family moment set to Thank You Mom by Good Charlotte, honouring Sophie’s mum. Sophie, eight months pregnant, wore a second-hand dress she found on Vinted and spoke openly about rejecting pressure around body image. As I’m spending the day tomorrow at one of my absolute favourite Bristol venues, I couldn’t resist sharing this beauty from Kings Weston House @kingswestonhouse1719 V & T created a relaxed, joy-filled celebration that felt completely true to them, and I felt so lucky to play a small part in capturing it. Confetti in the air, best friends by your side 🩷🧡 This moment wasn’t just pretty; it was powerful. A cascade of pink and orange thrown by the people who’ve seen every version of you and still show up wholeheartedly. That’s the magic. Not just the colours. Not just the setting.
