It has been great to get back to this stunning home and get some more up to date photos for the magazine it’s going in. This stunning home up at Mahana Ridge was designed to blend into its surrounds using a lot of Cedar and Glass with a little bit of dark Plaster cladding. With a low pitch roof this home sits perfectly on this amazing site that has views out over Tasman Bay. More photos to come. Mahana Ridge - Exterior. It was an absolute pleasure to design this high end spec home for our clients up Mahana Ridge. The design brief was for something a little different, a low profile home that blends into its surrounds, designed for entertainment but also create shelter from the wind while keeping the amazing view over Tasman Bay. The final result is better than expected and the clients ended up selling their own home to move in until their stunning new home is completed. Featuring Cedar and Rockcote cladding along with plenty of glass this home is nestled into the landscape. The court yard creates a sheltered BBQ area while still been able to enjoy the incredible views. Inside the dwelling features a massive gallery type entrance that leads you to the open plan kitchen, dining and living room that features a huge corner opening slider out onto the deck. A media room is to the side that creates that cosy feeling. The home has 3 bedrooms along with a full home office/sleep out to the side of the garage.
