I had the honor of retouching these dreamy portraits of @parishilton for her beauty brand @pariviebeauty , photographed by the insanely talented @ashleyosborn .
Retouching is such a strange, special kind of art.
Quiet. Subtle. Often invisible, but has an undeniable impact.
It’s funny because the mark of a good retoucher is to leave no mark at all. Like I was never there.
My work isn’t meant to be seen.
It’s meant to make sure nothing important gets missed.
You’re meant to see the story.
What I do is the last layer.. the polish, the bow, the final seal that brings the whole vision together.
That’s what I love most. The honor of being the cherry on top of something that was already incredible.
This kind of work matters to me.
I used to look at images like this and wonder if I’d ever be part of them.
Now I am.
Not by luck, but by building. By showing up. By practicing and refining.
Layer by layer. Just like the work itself.
If you’re on your own creative path, just. keep. going.
Even if it feels invisible right now, your work is taking you somewhere.

This one is special to me.
This shoot was born while I was living in Survival Mode. When my stress was at its most overwhelming. When I felt the most like a wreck.
Looking at these photos now, with ELLE printed on them… I’m realizing something so important.
You don’t stop being an artist. Life may get in the way, it might knock you down, but it can’t stop you from being who you are. You are a creator, even when you don’t feel like one.
I thought I had to feel good, feel ready, and have all my ducks in a row in order to create. Life has shown me that waiting for the perfect conditions leads to nowhere and really only makes you feel worse. A perfect condition isn’t real!
I’m realizing that creating when it’s most difficult is when you create your most meaningful work, because you fought through hell for it to exist.
Thank you so much to the team 🤍

When I am framing up my shots, I see lines and shapes. Those lines and shapes help me tell the story. I guess I never thought anything of it.. that’s just how I’ve always composed my work. I showed someone how I see in geometry and they thought it was fascinating so I decided to share my literal vision with all of you. Let me know if you think it’s cool or weird or actually insightful!

What’s so cool about my paparazzi sessions is that they blend all the things I’ve mastered over the years into one (badass) experience.
You get Fashion. You get Beauty. You get Docu-Style Storytelling.
The shots feel spontaneous and real, but they still have that high-end, editorial look.
It’s giving fashion magazine but it’s like, your real life and I think that’s so cool.

Let me tell you how I came up with my paparazzi-style sessions, NEW YORK NIGHTS. I was riding on the subway when I saw a tourist girl trying her hardest to snap a cute selfie. I could tell she was frustrated. She was trying so hard to catch the vibe of riding the NYC subway, but she was too shy to really go for it. (I mean, her dad was right there!) I realized right then, everyone deserves to have their iconic “NYC” photo. People travel all this way to be here, they make the effort to dress in their best outfits, they want this city to be the backdrop of their memories. They deserve better than shy subway selfies or blurry bad angles Shot by Dad. So, I designed this session for those beautiful, bold baddies. It’s for anyone visiting NYC, or having a schnazzy girls night out, or a chaotic bachelorette party, or someone’s birthday wish-come-true. I want them to focus on having FUN in this wild city while I create the proof. CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT WE GET INTO ON THE NEXT NEW YORK NIGHT!

My last production of 2025. I had the honor of freezing to death with @thecrystaltina and @evitascoccia . I’m so grateful to them for taking me up on this paparazzi style session. I’m looking to book more of these in 2026!
HAPPY NEW YEAR BADDIES ⭐️

One day you’re gonna travel somewhere warm, somewhere near the coastline, and you’re gonna walk into your luxurious 3 star or higher hotel room and there… on the wall… you will see a giant canvas displaying…. MY HIGH CONTRAST ABSTRACT LEAF ART. Something like that.

FOR THE ONES WHO MAKE SOMETHING OUT OF NOTHING
🤍
We call it the “hero” shot.
You’ve seen one before.
The perfected image up on the billboard
or even the finished masterpiece playing on the silver screen.
It’s the thing that took an entire team of people coming together to produce.
It’s the thing that gets made to be remembered.
And that’s nice and all.
But what I find more compelling are the under-noticed micro moments on set.
The literal miracles that had to perfectly align in order for that hero shot to surface.
These moments are magic.
Actual magic. Real magic.
You’ll see people in my photographs, but those remarkable, incredible, absolutely necessary conduits of Creation are not what I’m photographing.
My muse is THE MAGIC flowing through these Makers as they pull thought into form.
Do not be fooled. Artists have no idea what they are doing.
Yes, they possess extraordinary skill, honed technique, and innate talent.
But The Act of Creation itself is a wave of Divine Improv, it is the Artist who is choosing to ride it.
It’s risk, it’s trust, it’s faith.
There is no map, only feeling. Only timing.
Inside that improvisation, is where I see Art work, and that’s where I am taking you.
You’ll see a creative decision forming in a mind behind the camera.
The vulnerability of a model losing herself while every eye in the room is watching.
The hyper-attuned focus of a stylist devoted to the minutia of a shirt collar.
The strangely universal force that draws the tongue out of a mouth to help the mind concentrate.
I’m photographing THAT.
Without the people brave enough, weird enough, maybe even insane enough to channel these forces through themselves, the hero shot could never exist.
Art could not exist.
I feel called to honor that divine act, what I believe is the truest Work of Art.
These are portraits of Creation itself.
