March has felt like the longest and most challenging month in a while.
While my heart is full from all the wonderful musical experiences that I had, it is also heavy.
When a person so close to your heart is in constant pain and suffering and you can‘t do anything about it, it is hard to keep going.
I don‘t share a lot of my personal life here but I think it‘s important to remind ourselves from time to time, that nobody really knows what‘s truly going on so be mindful of each other and put compassion before anything else.
Music is saving me right now, giving me a purpose like it always has and I‘m grateful for that.
A big hug goes out to all the wonderful people who have been supporting me through these tough times - couldn‘t do it without you♥️

I‘ve been thinking lately - about my music career, my hopes and dreams, all the things that didn‘t work out, all the things that did, the sad and difficult things that keep happening but are a part of me as much as the easy and happy ones, the music I didn‘t write, the music I did write but didn‘t think was good enough, how the world is going to shit and what I can do to just make it even a little bit better, how grateful I am for everything I have, where all of this is going….
There will always be so much uncertainty because that‘s just life. But I do know the following:
I‘m in love with music and this will never change. I will always find a way to pursue my passion even if the vessel might change from time to time.
And I know that I’m surrounded by the most amazing people and that‘s all I need to keep going.

Somehow this song which I haven‘t listened to in years popped into my mind and it just felt right. @emelisande wrote that song when she was losing faith in the music industry and she was tired of people telling her that it was silly of her to pursue a career in music.
I can relate so much to that and I think it‘s sad that we always try to tell people that making art isn’t a real job. If it wasn‘t for all the artists who decided to block out the noise and follow their gut, we wouldn‘t have books, movies, music - the list goes on…
It would be a an even grimmer world than it already is, don‘t you think?
So let‘s nurture our inner child and let it grow old with you, it‘s worth it🎶✨💖
