So immensely proud that "Remote Strutting" is getting is Irish TV premiere on RTE 2 Shortscreen tonight at 23.30. It was an amazing journey since the very beginning. From pitching it at the @ardan_ie event, to finishing the script and then seeing it come to life has been so rewarding. I feel incredibly lucky to have worked with such a talented and dedicated creative team, as well as all the cast and crew. Everyone is immensely proud to see it broadcast on RTÉ Shortscreen and the RTÉ player, as it's such an honour to finally share our little short with a wider audience. Thanks to the creative team for sharing this journey and making an epic piece of film - @westernfrontstudios and @lornafitzsimons Special mention to our lead @lisaaekelly for a wonderful performance.

The 2024 Ardán/ RTÉ Short Film Commission short 'Remote Strutting' will receive its first national broadcast on RTÉ 2 tonight at 11:30pm! 🎉 The film is about a deaf office worker who has always worked remotely and decides to make the jump to working in person for the first time and explored the challenges that brings. The main character of the film was played by deaf actress Lisa Kelly with Dane White O’Hara, John Cronin, Bryan Baker and Sheila Moylette starring alongside her. 'Remote Strutting' was made in consultation with the Irish Deaf Society and the Deaf Village Ireland, and shot in Westport with a cast and crew of 38+ people! ✨💚🎬 The short film premiered at Galway Film Fleadh in 2024 and has gone on to screen at a number of other festivals in the UK and in the US. "It’s truly wonderful to have the opportunity to screen this beautiful short film as part of RTÉ’s Shortscreen. We’re delighted for everyone who was involved in the project, and of course, the fact that it’s inclusive of the deaf community is something we’re very proud of. My head is still spinning after an amazing few days at the 36th @galwayfilm fleadh. It was such a privilege to premiere at the Fleadh! Thanks so much to everyone that made Remote Strutting such a success, especially everyone at @ardan_ie , our producers @westernfrontstudios , our fantastic Director @lornafitzsimons , and the amazingly talented DOP @durcanbrian , all the cast including @lisaaekelly , @danewhyteohara , @jocro_77 and @sheilamoylette , not to mention all the incredible crew 👏 Thanks to all my friends and family for their support and especially to my incredible wife @stephaniecolombani as we also celebrated our 10th anniversary the day we premiered, and our new baby Ruby, who came nearly 3 weeks early just in time to see the premiere!
