Last season, we partnered with @thisismetalworks to give students from their Live Sound and Audio Production & Engineering programs the opportunity to record a live MSO concert and follow the project through to the final mix.
We were invited to a listening party at their renowned main studio to provide feedback to the finalists and ultimately select the winning team: Reuben Cole, Nick DiSalvia, and Dan Hawkes.
It was inspiring to spend time in a world class recording studio that has welcomed a wide range of artists, including Triumph, David Bowie, Prince, Bruce Springsteen, Drake, Guns N' Roses, and Mississauga’s own Billy Talent.
We’re excited to continue this partnership at The Mahler Experience on Saturday, May 23 at the Living Arts Centre!
