Fund-A-Thon ‘26: Building a Vessel for Our Future is for all the folks practicing prefiguration, or “building a new world in the shell of the old.” Prefigurative politics call for us to disrupt the status quo and lean into radical imagination, rather than waiting for change.
The regenerative nature of ceramics, glass, and metal speaks to our theme. We’re building, breaking, and applying pressure to what no longer serves us to forge new containers together.
Our theme is a love letter to Richmond’s vibrant clay-making and ceramics community, and to all the ways we build and mold anew. We can’t wait to see how y’all interpret our theme!

📦️ Donate your items. Arrive at Cherry Hill Park on 5/30 starting at 8:30am to donate, or if you're within 10 miles of Falls Church, request a pickup using the form in our bio.

TODAY we team up with 10 other bands to bring you a whole day’s worth of very loud screaming and yelling for the low price of solidarity and mutual aid for abortion care. The Richmond Reproductive Freedom Project exists and persists to provide funding for abortion services, but also so much more. They also provide lodging, transportation, and meals for those traveling from out of state, as well as volunteer escorts for those that have no one to support them. They put together and drop off care packages of comfort items to patients and clinics. Most people don’t even know the extent of what they do until they deeply need their care, services, and funding. If you like loud music and want to support the mission of @rrfpva - come join us today! Abortion seekers on our Language Access Line face steeper barriers, and have less options available to them. RRFP’s Language Access Line was created to meet this need across Virginia.

Mifepristone’s future is uncertain, but we know Misoprostol only abortion is safe and effective. Our collective right to autonomy is not bound to a judge, politicians, or legal outcomes. Period. The landscape may shift, but our support for you is the same. We're adapting to continue breaking down barriers together as we always have, even if we have to adjust time and time again.
With SCOTUS’s temporary administrative stay in place, Mifepristone is still accessible via telehealth until at least Monday, May 11th.
