In February I started training with humanist charity A Quiet Revolution to become a celebrant. In September I had a lovely, dreamy time performing my first ceremony for Romy and Max. (The black and white photo is by Max’s brother, Rowan Syed-Tollan). It was so nice I got some flyers made to let more people know I’d like to help them get married. 💕❤️🩹✨
Much as we have been enjoying our time off fae organising, we would like to announce an end to our two month hiatus and draw yr attention to Tfeh’s next “season” of weirdo musics & experimental sounds at Fruitmarket, Edinburgh.

12. Situationist Podcasting with Timothea Armour
@royorbisoninspace (artist, friend) joins the show to discuss 3-(no win no fee)-sided football, being contrarian, and playing/appreciating the heraldic aesthetics of sports. Plus we get into the arts of table tennis and sound design, and the show is forever changed (as usual).

Creeping around in the Pyrenees with an uncertain number of lovely ghouls at @camp_fr , following @cmvonhausswolff and @spectralelectric up hills and into caves and abandoned buildings and also doing some of my favourite activities (looking for ghosts, eating cheese, DIY karaoke, hanging out with amphibians and reptiles - special mention to the fire salamanders that pretty much made my year.)
Ages ago in some lockdown or other @jessica_higgins_ asked me if I wanted to write some music fan fiction. A bit later, I asked @noah.aha.aha to turn the short story I’d written into a performance and we recruited a selection of Roy Orbisons, mainly from people we’d worked in the pub with. There’ve been two performances so far, most recently thanks to @gianttankagainsttedium and Firas, and now you can recreate the experience at home/work/the pub with this edition from @tgigitffy which Matt and Jess have put together really beautifully, making me a bit sentimental about the whole thing (which The Big O would approve of, of course.)
In a month I’ll be running the @edinburghmarathonfestival half to raise money for the @scottishrefugeecouncil . If you would like to help out but would like a little more for your donation than me running about a bit, then the week before on 18 May, I’ll be running a stall at the Art Market @whiskykuts runs to coincide with Leith Market @customhouseleith .
