This has been a difficult past month for a place I love dearly, Minnesota. I spent the last week putting together this song, āMinnesota Nice.ā
The term Minnesota Nice can sometimes be taken as a slight, signifying weakness and an ease to give in. But the Minnesotans I know are the strongest, most hardworking, loyal, loving people on earth.
This is a song for my family, for the land, and for the citizens on the ground who have been fighting against a government that is actively trying to oppress and tell us that what weāre seeing isnāt really happening.
Letās take a page from Minnesota and stand strong, speak up, and help each other out when the going gets tough.
āMinnesota Niceā is now on Bandcamp, YouTube, and right here on this post. Coming soon to all music streaming platforms.
After sitting on it for 2 years, Iām thrilled to share that āAgain and Againā is now streaming everywhere you listen to music!

For 11 years, I have been beyond fortunate to call New York my home. From when I moved here for college, wide-eyed, just figuring out how to navigate the grid system, to a now decade-plus native who has lived across 2 boroughs in 4 different apartments (plus 2 dorms), these years have been magical and defining.
Some of you know, some of you donāt ā at the end of August, Iāll be moving back to my hometown of Los Angeles. This chapter close is bittersweet; I am eager and excited to spend this next part of life in LA, but I will of course deeply miss the people and places that have made these past 11 years unforgettable.
To cap it off, Iām thrilled to play one last time with my band on Wed 8/27 at @nublunyc . I will also be sharing the stage with two of my favorite artists that Iāve been lucky to get to know these past few years: @imclairehawkins and @drewkornmusic . RSVP at the Partiful link in my bio.
Weāll dance again, New York. But for now, letās go out with a bang!
