You all know I’m up at all hours trying to get my veggies in, so of course I had to lock into the @row7seeds #midnightsnackchallenge. The Sweet Garleek was calling my name. Sweet and savory, she’s everything you need after a long day. Find Row 7 Tinned Vegetables now on their website !

Post-filming midnight snack energy.
Made some quick garnachas with leftover roasted chicken, salsa roja, queso fresco, and @row7seeds Sweet Garleek… which honestly did most of the heavy lifting here. Deep roasted flavor, a little sweetness, and instantly made this taste way more put together than the amount of effort involved.
Exactly the kind of thing you throw together late at night when you’re tired, hungry, and trying not to fully cook again.

When I worked at @bluehillfarm@stonebarns in 2010, Dan Barber introduced me to the “509 squash”, which would later be known as the honeynut squash, a prototype of his dream to grow vegetables bred for deliciousness. @row7seeds is an actualization of that dream.
I’m so honored to be participating in the @row7seeds #midnightsnackchallenge with my Sweet Prince fried rice, using their tinned sweet prince tomatoes.
I work late and I’m usually wildly hungry when I come through the front door. So for this challenge, I throw together a soy sauce and brown butter caramelized rice with a fried egg and the Sweet Prince tomatoes. Fast, simple and can be made in less than 10 minutes!
These tomatoes are the most plump orbs of deliciousness and provide the jolt of acidity I’m always chasing.
