an ending is
a charm for st. peregrine
an earthworm with glowing insides
an erasure poem
a pencil smudge
a valve coated in a thick skin
a modular wall collapsed
a patch: for a large hole
an arresting pink that begs to be untouched
a left footprint, no rights. too many leavings.
a stiff glove standing upright
an omission that admits there's no grip
Grad school is coming to a close; I submitted my thesis yesterday; I've had my head down, immersed in the overwhelm, but now that I'm upright again, I'm reminiscing.

Anyway, save the date: April 5-10, my solo exhibition will be up in the Ana Mendieta Gallery. recreating the same photo 6 years apart. (it’s so fun to remember photo booth exists on my mac like once a year)
20 year old me is sat on my bed that rested against the floor to ceiling window of my studio apartment in tucson.
it’s an internal hug to meet yourself again six and a half years later. to meet yourself anew every morning.
