Finished my second Amethyst Tower to match my previous tower, this one with these deep purple Dragon Tooth Amethyst. Plus for May Day I wrapped this Incense Cedar Sapling smudge and sprinkled edible gold
LARGEST moss piece I’ve ever constructed. I created this piece to bring greenery to the newly opened @idyhotyoga studio. Spanning over 10 feet with 9 different mosses, I almost could not get it in my car, maybe an inch to spare. With rain coming I had to hustle to get this piece on the wall.
I have one more piece to complete for this studio, a large sign that will be unveiled at the grand opening celebration at the end of this month.
One of the greatest highlights is checking my pool (on occasion multiple times a day) to rescue drowning bugs. I gently scoop out the unlucky moths, lacewings, bees etc and try to notice if I feel that spark of life still in them. I’ll blow life back into them spending lots of time watching them revive. Scorpions sink right to the bottom of our black pool and can survive for days there so when I fish them out I’ll quarantine them to see if they reanimate and then walk them outside to a bush. If they truly are dead then I honor these gorgeous creatures. Soon it’ll be hot enough to be scorpion season, I watch the pool intently hoping to salvage any misfortune scorpions. Today I gave one to @masha.doll but poured two more into resin.
I worked so hard to get @mntn_haus healing room ready for its first session. From adorning the room’s boulder in moss, mushrooms and crystals to the manzanita and gold pyrite wall sculptures.
I decided this past week that Quan Yin needed a proper altar, I am an artist after all I should build something more elaborate in her honor. So I built a glowing Eye wall with mirror mosaic. I now cut fresh flowering rosemary for offerings to her.
This room is set up to do both energy healing and ritual hand poke tattoos, the bed is surrounded by crystals, sound bowls, chimes and a gong. I’ve made cedar smudges from my huge Incense Cedar trees and a Smudge wand from the local bird feathers I found.
I got to do my first multi day session this weekend of sound healing and energy work listening to the sounds of the fountain and birds chirping outside.
Won the lotto for the famous sandstone rock formation known as The Wave. Due to its delicate nature only 64 permits get issued daily which made it feel like we had the place all to ourselves. We had the space to make offerings to the land and the land repaid us 10fold with its psychedelic array of earth. The journey was accompanied by visits with a tarantula, a raven who followed us for a while and our dogs, some of which can climb! Journeying home from 2 weeks in India with @senft.kristina We visited the capitol only a few days before a terrorist bomb went off. The architect and history is breath taking. We then flew to the other side off the Arabian Sea in Goa for a yoga retreat where every class had a free roaming dog in it and the atmosphere was chill and tropical. We visited the Taj and a spice farm, we got massages and tattoos, pet cows and drank beetlejuice. Mother India I already miss you.

One of the best collaborations of the past decade has been directing new music videos for @joyshannon . We’re always pushing ourselves to create something new that reflects the myths and legends that she writes about. “Gray Havens” is no different, and if you know you know, this Tolkien inspired song is a dream for me to work on and to create imagery that reflects Joy and the Professors work.
