Depends on how you look at it. 99 episodes in and I’m just now saying it out loud. Breakups feels different when you have nowhere to hide. No city noise. No distractions. No one to perform for. Just you and your thoughts and a place that moves at its own pace. I tried the playbook. We all do. And it works until it doesn’t. What actually helped was simpler and harder at the same time. I started noticing people from the outside buying condos, leasing land, and starting businesses. They’re finding ways to get in. And a lot of us aren’t even looking. Last year alone, billions of dollars came into the Philippines from foreign investors. So the question is simple. Why aren’t we participating in our own economy? This isn’t just about real estate. In a world full of distractions, how do you get your message out to your community? It’s not just what you say. It’s how you present it. Angles, movement, story. If you’re just talking to one camera, you’re making it easy for people to scroll. But when your content feels alive, people stay. A lot of people don’t believe it when I tell them, but this entire time I’ve kept it simple. iPhone 15 Pro. DJI Mic Mini. A basic tripod. I edit everything on the IG Edits app. That’s it. It was me. The way I’m used to things working. Fast. Flexible. Figure it out. That New York mindset. I brought that with me and expected it to work everywhere. And when it didn’t, I felt it because it wasn’t working the way I expected it to. I’ve been here for a year now and I still catch myself in those moments. Where I realize my way isn’t the only way.
