Tidal Shift is a large scale light installation installed on the 24th floor of 222 2nd St in San Francisco. The 40 ft x 8 ft chandelier is made up of 7600 hanging acrylic rods. Live data from a NOAA weather station located in San Francisco bay influences a 4-daypart generative visuals system, mapped to each rod’s individual light. The piece is constantly in motion, and reflects the current weather conditions of the bay in realtime.
It looks cool during the day, but at night it’s mesmerizing.

Rapids is an immersive new media light installation that explores the journey of information. Represented by projection and light, elements tumble through a surging cascade of high and low resolutions within a physical space. Powered by Unreal Engine, TouchDesigner, and audio, the real-time fluid simulation streams a literal flow of data and ideas across the 40-foot installation.

“Big Blue Instrument” is constructed using modular IBC liquid storage, which naturally diffuses light and acts as a natural sound chamber. Each contains individually controlled lighting and audio devices, enabling the spatial composition that flows through the sculpture. Working with sound designers we hope to transition the experience from moments of intensity to stillness.
