Like so many others - am feeling a mix of sad, angry, grateful in the days following the death of Justice Ginsburg.
I want to say thank you for the meaningful conversations I have had with mourners at this mural, for all the folks that have left messages or stood in silence looking up at her face, for literally anyone that has passed by this piece of art in the past year and in the past two days that has felt something from seeing it. I am understanding in real time the power of art, space, place - even more than I ever did before.

I do understand our justice department is not just. It works for some and not for all. It is part of a system built on oppression. I also understand it is the system we have in place, and people like RBG worked hard, tirelessly and relentlessly to change it for the better. As a woman, a person, an artist, I thank her for the work she has done and benefit daily from it. It’s time for her to Rest In Peace!! We got it from here...let’s do her justice.⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

Pyramid Atlantic has become such a special place in my life.
THIS SATURDAY MAY 9th 12-5pm is the GATEWAY ARTS OPEN STUDIO with over 300 artists studios. This is the largest coordinated open studio event in the area 🎉
I will be at my new studio @pyramidatlantic (aka my second home) Come through! And come early in the day bc I might dip out later to see other studios 👀👀
